NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
01-2026 ANIMAL CONTROL BYLAW

PLACE: Town of Barrhead Council Chambers at 5014 - 50 Av, Barrhead, AB
TAKE NOTICE that the Council of the Town of Barrhead will hold a Public Hearing in accordance with the Municipal Government Act, RSA 2000, c. M-26, as amended, to consider the following:
Amending the Animal Control Bylaw to include allowing Urban hen keeping within the Town of Barrhead with limitations, including:
- minimum and maximum number of hens,
- coop and run requirements,
- meeting Provincial requirements, and
- proper keeping of the hens

You may participate in the Public Hearing by submitting written feedback or participating in an oral presentation .
