council passes first reading of neutrality bylaw
Sept 30 - On September 30, a special meeting of Council was held to discuss the proposed neutrality bylaw 08-2024 - Neutral Space Bylaw. Following a detailed review and discussion, Council passed the first reading of the bylaw and directed administration to proceed with a plebiscite relating to the bylaw.
The neutrality bylaw seeks to address concerns raised through a valid petition.
